Out of darkness, pain and hurt, The MaGik in ME Photography was born, like a Phoenix rising out of the ashes.

I believe there is MaGik all around you. In everything you touch, smell, taste, hear and see. In this crazy world, you have to believe in MaGik. Even if just a little.

Copious amounts of passion, kindness, vibrant energy, gentleness, laughter and empathy define who I am.

MMAALTTEEZERS!!! Did someone say Maltesers? I absolutely LOVE Maltesers, the original or honeycomb ones. Include a cup of coffee with frothed up Puhoi Valley fresh organic Half and Half milk and well… now, where was I?

Through sheer willpower, determination, tenacity, creativity, passion, imagination and making mistakes, I stepped out of my comfort zone and created The MaGik in ME Photography.

With nothing but my trusted camera, a few close friends and family to help me along. I took a leap of faith and embarked on a new journey and adventure, determined to change my circumstances and future. I am motivated with wanting to create something amazing.

I AM HOPE and Taranaki Retreat are Charitable Trusts who have come on board as companions to The MaGik in ME; to walk with many others as they walk beside us. These companions have deep meaning to me as they were with me through the challenges and adversity that I have faced and overcome. Even today they are still there. These are community-based organisations who work within the community, rich, poor and in-between. They are on the ground in and amongst the people offering help and support where and when needed.
